4.3 Phase 0 Implementation Baseline

Go To Phase 0 Implementation Profile Overview

The Phase 0 Implementation Profile establishes an implementation baseline.

The baseline identifies the selected implementation technologies, artifact types, mappings, conventions, and preconditions used for the Phase 0 FX Demo. It provides sufficient implementation specificity for later coding, deployment planning, testability planning, observation planning, and evidence planning.

The implementation baseline includes:

  • selected communication technology;
  • selected data definition mechanism;
  • selected generated-type approach;
  • selected implementation language;
  • selected Quality of Service (QoS) profile approach;
  • selected implementation Node approach;
  • selected repository and build artifact approach;
  • selected script and execution approach;
  • selected logging and exception-handling approach;
  • selected traceability conventions; and
  • required Developer Handbook controls.

The baseline does not remain fixed in later phases. Later development phases may define new baselines when they change implementation scope, technologies, packaging, deployment expectations, evidence expectations, or operational maturity.
