Go To FX Demo Logical Communication Model

The FX Demo Logical Communication Model specializes the Part 2 Logical Communication Model for the Foreign Exchange Domain.

An FX logical Communication Endpoint identifies a platform-independent point of information exchange among FX logical Nodes. Each endpoint identifies the participating FX logical Nodes or Node Roles, Communication Roles, FX logical information structures, Runtime Plane classification, governance constraints, and Traceability or Evidence expectations.

The FX Demo Logical Communication Model does not prescribe DDS Topics, REST resources, RPC methods, Protocol Buffers services, message queues, event streams, files, database handoffs, shared-memory locations, or network routes. Implementation profiles select the mechanisms used to realize FX logical Communication Endpoints.

Figure 8-1 summarises the primary FX logical Communication Endpoints.
