5.3 FX Demo Logical Architecture Context
Go To FX Demo Logical Profile Overview
The FX Demo Logical Profile sits between the reusable Part 2 Logical Model (LM) / Platform Independent Model (PIM) and later implementation, deployment, testability, and Evidence layers.
Part 2 defines the reusable, distributed, node-based Logical Model (LM) / Platform Independent Model (PIM). This part specializes the Part 2 logical architecture for the Foreign Exchange Domain. Part 4 maps selected FX logical profile elements to implementation artifacts. Part 5 defines deployment, testability, runtime operation, and Evidence collection for the selected implementation.
Figure 5-3 shows the position of Part 3 within the document-set layering model.

The FX Demo Logical Profile therefore acts as the domain-specialization layer. It provides enough FX-specific logical detail to support implementation mapping and Evidence planning while preserving platform independence.
