Part 3, Section 17.10: FX Logical Governance Requirements.

The FX Logical Governance Model is composed of a defined set of governance capabilities that collectively govern the lifecycle of the logical architecture. These capabilities establish responsibility for ownership, version management, compatibility assessment, controlled evolution, admission of architectural elements, and policy constraints while preserving platform independence.

Defining these governance capabilities provides a consistent architectural governance framework without prescribing organizational processes or implementation technologies.

This requirement applies to the FX Logical Governance Model defined by the FX Demo Logical Profile.

It applies specifically to:

  • governance architecture;
  • governance capability definitions;
  • architectural governance;
  • conformance assessment; and
  • derived Implementation Profiles.

Verification SHALL confirm that the FX Logical Governance Model defines all required governance capabilities.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  • each required governance capability is defined;
  • governance responsibilities are distinguishable;
  • governance capabilities remain platform independent; and
  • implementation-specific governance technologies are not prescribed.

This requirement defines the governance capabilities established by the FX Logical Governance Model.
