A later profile that inherits a Classification Path SHALL preserve the meaning of the inherited Ecosphere, Ecosystem, and Domain.

Later profiles refine or specialize the Conceptual Architecture. When a later profile inherits a Classification Path, it also inherits the conceptual meaning of the Ecosphere, Ecosystem, and Domain within that path.

Preserving inherited meaning supports controlled profile inheritance, prevents semantic drift, and maintains traceability across the document set.

This requirement applies to later profiles that inherit a Classification Path from the Conceptual Architecture.

It applies specifically to:

• Profile inheritance
• Classification reuse
• Ecosphere meaning
• Ecosystem meaning
• Domain meaning
• Cross-profile traceability

Verification SHALL confirm that later profiles preserve the meaning of inherited Classification Paths and their classification levels.

Verification activities include review checks confirming that:

• Later profiles identify inherited Classification Paths
• Later profiles preserve inherited Ecosphere meaning
• Later profiles preserve inherited Ecosystem meaning
• Later profiles preserve inherited Domain meaning
• Later profiles do not redefine inherited classification levels
