ENV-002c — Instantiate Included Nodes
Statement
The DIDO-TE SHALL instantiate each Node included in a Test Environment before Test Execution.
Derived From
-
[DTE5] DIDO-TE Requirements Register, source requirement identifier and obligation to be assigned
Rationale
Instantiating each included Node establishes the operational participants required by a Test Environment.
The instantiated Nodes perform the information-processing, communication, observation, control, or support functions required during Test Execution.
Establishing correspondence between each defined Node and its instantiated state supports controlled execution, Reproducibility, and assessment of whether a Node difference influenced a Test Result.
Applies To
Verification
Verification confirms that:
-
The DIDO-TE instantiates every Node included in the Test Environment.
-
Each instantiated Node corresponds to a Node identified by the controlled Test Environment information.
-
Each instantiated Node has the specified version, Baseline, Configuration, and Deployment Target.
-
Each instantiated Node enters its required initial lifecycle state before Test Execution.
-
The DIDO-TE maintains Traceability between each defined Node and its instantiated state.
-
A missing, incorrect, or untraceable Node instance constitutes nonconformance with this requirement.
Verification includes:
-
Inspection of the Nodes identified for the Test Environment
-
Inspection of each instantiated Node
-
Comparison of each instantiated Node with its controlled definition
-
Inspection of the version, Baseline, Configuration, Deployment Target, and initial lifecycle state of each instantiated Node
-
Inspection of Traceability records connecting each defined Node to its instantiated state
-
A negative assessment using a missing, incorrect, or untraceable Node instance
-
Confirmation that the negative assessment produces a nonconformance result
