11.1 Content Minimisation

Go up to Market Integrity Controls

Content Minimisation limits the information exposed through the Governed Node Service Market to the information needed for an authorised market, governance, audit, compensation, settlement, or review purpose.

The market does not need unrestricted access to full transaction content, full evidence payloads, sensitive policy reasoning, proprietary service logic, confidential business information, or jurisdictionally protected data. It requires sufficient information to support qualification, selection, assignment, evidence review, compensation eligibility, settlement treatment, non-performance visibility, and governance action.

Content Minimisation protects privacy, confidentiality, sovereignty, residency, security, and commercial sensitivity while preserving reviewability. Evidence References, classification metadata, Qualification Profiles, Qualification Evidence references, assignment records, Work Performed Events, Compensation Claims, Non-Performance Indicators, and Settlement Instructions may provide sufficient visibility without exposing unnecessary content.

Content Minimisation also supports market participation. Smaller and specialised providers can participate without receiving unnecessary access to protected data. Buyers and Integrators can compare Qualified Nodes without exposing more information than the selection or integration purpose requires. Regulators, Auditors, and Governance Bodies can review market integrity through authorised evidence views instead of unrestricted access to all business content.

Content Minimisation does not justify withholding information required for lawful, regulatory, supervisory, audit, governance, or dispute-resolution purposes. It limits disclosure to the authorised purpose, participant role, policy constraint, evidence obligation, and jurisdictional requirement.

A Qualified Node performs sanctions screening for an FX transaction. The market records the governed function, the selected Qualified Node, the accountable Qualified Service Provider, the applicable Qualification Profile, the Work Performed Event, the Evidence Reference, the Cost Rule, and the compensation treatment. The market does not expose the full transaction payload or detailed screening rationale to participants who only need evidence of assignment, performance, and compensation eligibility.
