Go to Information Minimization
The Cost Recovery, Compensation, and Settlement Plane supports costing, billing, chargeback, reimbursement, compensation, and settlement while preserving content minimization.
Requirements
-
The Cost Recovery, Compensation, and Settlement Plane SHALL receive only the minimum information required to attribute, price, audit, and settle governed work.
-
The Cost Recovery, Compensation, and Settlement Plane SHALL use references to obligations, evidence, transactions, providers, and accounting artifacts rather than routine access to protected content.
-
The Cost Recovery, Compensation, and Settlement Plane SHALL NOT require routine access to full transaction payloads, full counterparty identities, detailed anti-money-laundering findings, detailed fraud findings, sanctions investigation notes, sensitive policy reasoning, full evidence payloads, regulated data content, or confidential business terms beyond the information required for settlement.
-
The platform-specific model SHALL define IDL types that capture the minimum cost-relevant information required by the Cost Recovery, Compensation, and Settlement Plane.
-
The IDL types SHALL separate references, classifications, work identifiers, cost context, and settlement context from protected transaction content.
