2.4 Relationship to Parts 1, 2, and 3

Return to Relationship to the Architecture Documents

Parts 1, 2, and 3 establish the architectural reasoning that comes before implementation.

Part 1 establishes the conceptual foundation. It frames the Financial Systems Archetype and explains why the project needs disciplined financial-system modelling and implementation.

Part 2 defines the reusable distributed Logical Architecture / PIM. It establishes the Node-based architectural pattern and separates Roles, structures, topics, interactions, and responsibilities before the team selects a specific implementation technology.

Part 3 defines the FX Demo Logical Profile. It applies the reusable logical architecture to the foreign exchange demonstration context and identifies the logical Nodes, topics, Lifecycle concepts, and demonstration profile that Phase 0 begins to implement.

This handbook depends on those parts, but it does not duplicate them. When the team needs conceptual or logical meaning, it should use the relevant architecture document. When the team needs implementation guidance, it should use this handbook.
