11.6 Audit and Provenance Plane Realization
Go To Phase 0 Runtime Plane Realization
The Phase 0 implementation realizes the FX Logical Audit and Provenance Plane through implementation artifacts that record auditable information, lineage, processing context, and evidence-supporting relationships.
Audit and Provenance Plane realization includes:
-
audit record production;
-
provenance record production;
-
linkage from inputs to outputs;
-
linkage among implementation participants, DDS Topics, IDL structures, generated types, processing steps, and timestamps;
-
recording of the rule, model, policy, or configuration version context where Phase 0 requires it;
-
replay and reconstruction support; and
-
traceability from audit and provenance artifacts to the FX logical interactions they describe.
Phase 0 maps audit and provenance information primarily to DDS Topics such as Audit.FX.AuditRecord, Audit.FX.ProvenanceRecord, Audit.FX.ReplayRequest, and Audit.FX.ReplayResult.
Audit and Provenance Plane artifacts do not merely duplicate logs. Logs contribute to audit or provenance only when the implementation preserves traceable information that supports review, replay, reconstruction, or evidence planning.
