Go To Mapping from FX Logical Information Structures to IDL and Generated Types

This section defines how the Phase 0 Implementation Profile maps selected FX logical information structures from the Part 3 FX Demo Logical Profile to IDL structures and generated types.

An FX logical information structure defines meaning, structure, constraints, lineage, governance context, and traceability expectations at the logical profile level. An IDL structure provides the selected Phase 0 implementation representation of that logical structure. A generated type provides the language-specific implementation artifact derived from the IDL structure.

IDL structures and generated types realize FX logical information structures. They do not redefine them.

The mappings in this section support traceability from FX logical information structures to IDL structures and generated types, and from IDL structures and generated types back to the FX logical information structures they realize.
