Generated artifacts must remain distinguishable from hand-authored artifacts.

[[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:i:idl|IDL]] structures, generated types, generated bindings, generated support files, and any other generated artifacts must identify their source definition, generator, generation context, regeneration policy, and manual-editing status. Developers must not hand-edit generated artifacts unless the file header explicitly permits manual modification.

This principle protects repeatability. It allows the team to regenerate implementation artifacts from governed definitions without losing manual changes or confusing generated content with authored implementation logic.
