Go To Top

The Logical Architecture / PIM applies the following constraints:

  • Logical Nodes remain distinct from runtime deployments.
  • Logical Communication Endpoints remain distinct from communication technologies.
  • Logical Data Structure Definitions remain distinct from serialisation formats and implementation schemas.
  • Logical Runtime Planes remain distinct from implementation groupings.
  • Logical interactions remain traceable.
  • Logical Architecture does not prescribe deployment topology.
  • Logical Architecture does not prescribe the implementation of communication patterns.
  • Logical Architecture does not prescribe governance tooling.
  • Domain Logical Profiles preserve the Logical Architecture while adding Domain-specific logical detail.
  • Implementation Profiles / PSMs preserve the Logical Architecture while mapping logical elements to selected technologies.
