15.1 Overview

Go To Top

The Logical Rules and Constraints define the boundaries that preserve the platform-independent meaning of the distributed, node-based Logical Architecture / PIM.

These rules protect the distinction between logical elements and later domain, implementation, deployment, testability, and Evidence artifacts. They also prevent communication technologies, data representations, execution mechanisms, deployment mechanisms, or runtime infrastructure from redefining the logical architecture.

Section 16 expresses the formal logical requirements. This section explains the logical rules and constraints that motivate those requirements.
