4.3 Platform Independence

Go To Top

The Logical Architecture / PIM remains independent of implementation technology, deployment topology, communication protocol, programming language, data serialisation format, middleware product, orchestration platform, and runtime packaging.

Part 2 identifies the logical Nodes, logical endpoints, logical information structures, logical interactions, logical governance relationships, and logical traceability relationships required by this distributed, node-based Logical Architecture / PIM. It does not bind those logical elements to DDS Topics, IDL structures, Protocol Buffers messages, REST resources, RPC methods, Python processes, container images, Kubernetes objects, or Crucible scenarios.
