17.6 Generated Artifact Governance

Go To Phase 0 Implementation Governance

Generated artifact governance controls how Phase 0 generated files are produced, reviewed, regenerated, and protected from unauthorized manual modification.

Generated artifact governance applies to generated types, generated DDS support artifacts, generated bindings, and other generated outputs selected for Phase 0.

Each generated artifact must identify:

  1. Source definition
  2. Source IDL file or governed source artifact
  3. Generator or generation process
  4. Generation context or version
  5. Generated output location
  6. Regeneration rule
  7. Manual-editing rule
  8. Related DDS Topic or implementation module where applicable
  9. Related FX logical information structure where applicable

A generated artifact must not enter the Phase 0 implementation baseline unless reviewers can confirm its source definition, generation process, regeneration rule, and traceability relationship.
