P4-REQ-21-4-005

Each implementation node artefact SHALL identify the DDS Topics, IDL structures, generated types, configuration artefacts, scripts, and supporting modules it uses.

Part 4, Section 21.4: Logical Node Mapping Requirements.

An implementation node artefact depends on multiple supporting implementation artefacts and mechanisms. Identifying those dependencies makes its implementation context explicit and reviewable.

This information supports compatibility review, generation review, configuration review, repository governance, and later deployment planning.

This requirement applies to:

  • implementation node artefacts;
  • DDS Topic mappings;
  • IDL structures and generated types;
  • configuration artefacts;
  • scripts; and
  • supporting implementation modules.

Verification SHALL confirm that each implementation node artefact identifies the applicable implementation artefacts and mechanisms it uses.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  • DDS Topics used by the artefact are identified;
  • IDL structures and generated types are identified;
  • configuration artefacts are identified;
  • applicable scripts are identified; and
  • supporting modules are identified.

This requirement establishes the dependency and implementation-context relationships associated with each implementation node artefact.
