The FX Demo Logical Profile SHALL use the inherited classification path Finance Ecosphere → Monetary Ecosystem → Foreign Exchange Domain.

Part 3, Section 17.2: FX Domain Profile Requirements.

The inherited classification path establishes the architectural context of the FX Demo Logical Profile within the overall Reference Architecture. Using the established Finance Ecosphere, Monetary Ecosystem, and Foreign Exchange Domain classification ensures that the profile remains aligned with the common architectural taxonomy while enabling consistent governance, traceability, and interoperability across related domain profiles.

Using a common classification path also enables architectural artefacts to be organized, discovered, reviewed, and governed consistently throughout the Reference Architecture.

This requirement applies to the definition, review, maintenance, interpretation, and evolution of the FX Demo Logical Profile.

It applies specifically to:

• architectural classification activities;
• domain profile definition;
• architectural governance reviews; and
• traceability between Parts 1, 2, and 3.

Verification SHALL confirm that the FX Demo Logical Profile explicitly identifies the inherited classification path.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

• the Finance Ecosphere is identified;
• the Monetary Ecosystem is identified;
• the Foreign Exchange Domain is identified; and
• no alternative classification path is defined.

This requirement supports traceability between the architectural classification model defined in Part 1 and the FX Demo Logical Profile.
