Including IDL and generated type mappings preserves the relationship between logical information structures and their runtime representations. ===== Applies To ===== This requirement applies to: * governed IDL structures; * generated types; * source IDL files; * DDS Topic data mappings; and * producing and consuming implementation participants. ===== Verification ===== Verification SHALL confirm that the Part 5 handoff identifies the applicable IDL and generated type mappings. Verification activities should include review checks confirming that: * applicable IDL structures are identified; * generated types are identified; * source definitions remain traceable; and * Topic and participant relationships are identifiable. ===== Traceability ===== This requirement carries the Part 4 information-structure implementation mappings into Part 5.
