FX Validation Node

The FX Validation Node validates candidate FX transaction information against applicable structural, syntactic, compatibility, and profile-level expectations.

The FX Validation Node performs structural validation responsibilities. It consumes FX Transaction Candidate information, checks required fields and constraints, identifies validation outcomes, produces FX Validation Results, and records validation provenance.

The FX Validation Node participates primarily in the Logical Data Plane. It also participates in the Logical Audit and Provenance Plane when it records validation lineage and in the Logical Health and Observability Plane when it reports operational condition.

FX logical Node responsible for validating candidate FX transaction information

Specialization of Logical Node from Part 2, Section 6.2, and Node from Part 1, Section 7.2; generalised from validation material in the original FX Demo Reference Architecture.

The FX Validation Node validates logical FX information structures. It does not prescribe a validation engine, programming language, schema language, rules engine, or runtime service.

The FX Validation Node consumes an FX Transaction Candidate and produces an FX Validation Result that identifies whether the candidate transaction satisfies the applicable logical validation expectations.
