FX Replay Request Endpoint

The FX Replay Request Endpoint carries replay or reconstruction requests to the FX Replay and Reconstruction Node.

The endpoint supports replay, reconstruction, audit review, evidence review, reproducibility, and oversight analysis. It carries FX Replay Request information that identifies the request scope, the requested purpose, the source-record criteria, the target information, the requesting Node or participant, the timestamp, and the authorizing context.

The FX Replay Request Endpoint participates primarily in the FX Logical Control Plane and FX Logical Audit and Provenance Plane. It relates to the FX Logical Data Plane when replay results lead to the republication or reconstruction of FX information.

Communication Endpoint carrying replay or reconstruction requests

Specialization of Logical Communication Endpoint from Part 2: Distributed Node-Based Logical Architecture, Section 7.2, Logical Interaction Traceability from Part 2: Distributed Node-Based Logical Architecture, Section 12.7, Logical Evidence Traceability from Part 2: Distributed Node-Based Logical Architecture, Section 12.8, and Traceability from Part 1: Conceptual Architecture, Section 7.10; generalised from replay, reconstruction, audit, provenance, and evidence material in the original FX Demo Reference Architecture.

The FX Replay Request Endpoint does not prescribe a replay API, database query, event-store command, log replay mechanism, DDS Topic, REST resource, RPC method, or test-tool interface.

An authorized review process sends an FX Replay Request asking the FX Replay and Reconstruction Node to reconstruct the lineage of a released FX information package.
