The Finance Ecosphere identifies the broad, governed area of financial activity that the Financial Systems Archetype addresses. It provides the highest-level classification for financial structured information systems within this document set.

The Finance Ecosphere includes financial institutions, markets, instruments, transactions, obligations, reporting, oversight, supervision, risk analysis, settlement, and related structured-information processing activities.

Later ecosystems, domains, logical profiles, implementation profiles, deployment profiles, and evidence plans inherit the Finance Ecosphere when they operate within the financial scope defined by this part.

The Finance Ecosphere is not a runtime identifier, a DDS Domain ID, a deployment namespace, a repository path, an organization, a regulator, a market, or an implementation boundary.

The Monetary Ecosystem is part of the Finance Ecosphere.
