The Audit Recording Role identifies responsibility for recording auditable information about FX logical interactions, decisions, state changes, information exchanges, releases, commands, acknowledgements, replay requests, and reconstruction results.

This role includes recording what happened, when it happened, which FX logical [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:f:financial_node|Nodes]] participated, which FX information structures were involved, which [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:c:communication_endpoint|endpoint]] carried the information, which [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:r:runtime_plane|Runtime Plane]] framed the interaction, and which [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:e:evidence|evidence]] expectations apply.
