Rationale
A Twin Identity may be associated with multiple Twin Realizations having different realization characteristics.
A Twin Realization Type distinguishes the kind of realization independently of the realization's implementation, location, or resource identifiers.
The source material explicitly distinguishes virtual and physical or real-world Twin Nodes. A controlled vocabulary preserves those distinctions and supports consistent selection, comparison, Configuration, and Traceability across Twin Realizations.

Each Twin Realization has a Twin Realization Type.

The assigned Twin Realization Type belongs to the applicable controlled vocabulary.

An undefined Twin Realization Type is rejected.

The controlled vocabulary distinguishes virtual and physical or real-world Twin Realizations.

A Test Definition or Test Execution can determine a Twin Realization Type without inspecting implementation-specific resource properties.
Verification includes at least one virtual Twin Realization and one physical or real-world Twin Realization.

This requirement supports registration, selection, Configuration, and comparison of different kinds of Twin Realizations associated with a Twin Identity.
