OR-002b — Deployment Acceptance Assessment

Crucible SHALL assess each completed Deployment against the Acceptance Criteria defined for the selected Deployment Target.

This requirement derives from:

The Original Requirement states:

The system SHALL support deployment into:

* AWS
* Azure
* Google Cloud Platform
* VMware
* OpenShift
* Kubernetes
* Bare Metal Infrastructure
* Air-Gapped Environments[C1]

OR-002b derives the obligation to determine whether a completed Deployment meets the conditions established for its selected Deployment Target.

Completion of a Deployment does not demonstrate that the resulting environment satisfies the requirements of the selected Deployment Target.

Target-specific Acceptance Criteria provide the basis for determining whether the completed Deployment produced an acceptable result.

OR-002b requires Crucible to perform that assessment before the Deployment can be treated as accepted.

Verification confirms that:

1. The tested Deployment identifies its selected Deployment Target
2. The selected Deployment Target identifies its Acceptance Criteria
3. The tested Deployment is complete before assessment begins
4. Crucible assesses the completed Deployment against each Acceptance Criterion defined for the selected Deployment Target
5. The assessment identifies whether each Acceptance Criterion is satisfied
6. The assessment identifies any Acceptance Criterion that cannot be evaluated
7. The assessment produces an overall Deployment acceptance result

Assess whether the current Crucible implementation evaluates each completed Deployment against the Acceptance Criteria defined for the selected Deployment Target.

Define when a Deployment is complete and ready for acceptance assessment.

Define how Crucible evaluates each Acceptance Criterion.

Define the behavior required when the selected Deployment Target does not identify Acceptance Criteria.

Define the behavior required when an Acceptance Criterion cannot be evaluated.

Define how the individual assessment results determine the overall Deployment acceptance result.

• Each completed Deployment as the assessed subject
• The Acceptance Criteria defined for the selected Deployment Target as the assessment basis
