The Interpretation Model SHALL support reproduction of an Interpretation using identified, version-controlled conditions.
An Interpretation may depend on more than its input Data. Its outcome may also depend on the applicable Structure, Semantics, interpretive rules, Policies, configuration, processing order, and execution context.
Identifying and preserving these conditions allows an Interpretation to be repeated, reviewed, compared, and explained. This capability supports auditability, Traceability, testing, dispute resolution, and long-term use of authoritative structured information.
The Submission satisfies this requirement when the Interpretation Model supports identification of:
The Model SHALL permit the identified conditions to be used to repeat or independently evaluate the Interpretation.
Reproducibility does not require a repeated execution to produce an identical result when the Interpretation depends on nondeterministic or externally varying conditions. The Reference Architecture must allow those conditions to be identified, controlled, measured, or recorded sufficiently to explain resulting differences.
SIP-013 depends on the lifecycle controls defined for structural, semantic, and interpretive Artifacts by SIP-010, SIP-011, and SIP-012.
