Each DDS Topic mapping SHALL identify the FX logical Communication Endpoint it realises.

Part 4, Section 21.5: Communication Endpoint Mapping Requirements.

A DDS Topic must identify the logical Communication Endpoint it realizes so that the architectural purpose of the Topic remains explicit.

This identification supports backward review from the implementation mechanism to the authoritative Part 3 communication definition.

This requirement applies to:

• DDS Topic mappings;
• FX logical Communication Endpoints;
• configuration artifacts; and
• implementation traceability records.

Verification SHALL confirm that each DDS Topic mapping identifies the FX logical Communication Endpoint it realizes.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

• the applicable Communication Endpoint is explicitly identified;
• the Topic purpose agrees with the logical endpoint;
• mapping records are reviewable; and
• the logical endpoint remains authoritative.

This requirement establishes backward traceability from each DDS Topic mapping to its Part 3 FX logical Communication Endpoint.
