The Part 5 handoff SHALL identify DDS Topic mappings.

Part 4, Section 21.15: Part 5 Handoff Requirements.

Part 5 uses the communication mappings defined by Part 4 when deploying, exercising, observing, and testing Phase 0 implementation participants.

Including DDS Topic mappings in the handoff ensures that runtime exchanges remain tied to their FX logical Communication Endpoints.

This requirement applies to:

• DDS Topics;
• Communication Endpoint mappings;
• publishers;
• subscribers; and
• applicable communication configuration.

Verification SHALL confirm that the Part 5 handoff identifies the DDS Topic mappings required by the selected Phase 0 baseline.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

• applicable DDS Topics are identified;
• producing and consuming participants are identifiable;
• logical Communication Endpoint mappings are preserved; and
• Topic mappings are suitable for Part 5 deployment and test planning.

This requirement carries the Part 4 Communication Endpoint-to-DDS Topic mappings into the Part 5 handoff.
