Implementation governance SHALL define generated artifact governance.

Part 4, Section 21.13: Implementation Governance Requirements.

Generated artifacts sit between governed source definitions and executable implementation behavior and therefore require explicit governance.

Generated artifact governance ensures that source definitions, generation processes, regeneration rules, versions, output locations, and manual-editing restrictions remain reviewable.

This requirement applies to:

• generated types;
• generated DDS support artifacts;
• generated bindings;
• generation processes; and
• generated-file metadata.

Verification SHALL confirm that implementation governance defines generated artifact governance.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

• source definitions are identifiable;
• generation processes are identifiable;
• regeneration rules are defined;
• manual-editing rules are defined; and
• generated outputs remain reproducible.

This requirement establishes governance for Phase 0 artifacts produced from governed source definitions.
