Each FX logical Node Role SHALL specialise Logical Node Role from Part 2.

Part 3, Section 17.4: FX Logical Node Role Requirements.

Specializing the Part 2 Logical Node Roles preserves the architectural inheritance established by the platform-independent Logical Architecture while allowing the FX Demo Logical Profile to define Foreign Exchange-specific logical responsibilities. This ensures that domain-specific roles remain consistent with the common architectural model and support interoperability, governance, and architectural reuse.

This requirement applies to every FX logical Node Role defined by the FX Demo Logical Profile.

It applies specifically to:

• logical Node Role specialization;
• architectural inheritance;
• logical architecture reviews; and
• profile maintenance.

Verification SHALL confirm that every FX logical Node Role explicitly identifies the corresponding Part 2 Logical Node Role from which it is specialized.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

• every FX logical Node Role has an identified parent Logical Node Role;
• specialization relationships are documented;
• inherited architectural meaning is preserved; and
• no orphan logical Node Roles exist.

This requirement preserves traceability between the Part 2 Logical Architecture and each FX logical Node Role defined by the FX Demo Logical Profile.
