The FX Demo Logical Profile SHALL NOT prescribe implementation technologies, data serialisation formats, programming languages, middleware products, deployment mechanisms, runtime scripts, repository structures, test tools, or evidence-capture mechanisms.
Part 3, Section 17.2: FX Domain Profile Requirements.
The FX Demo Logical Profile defines a platform-independent Logical Profile that captures the logical structure, behavior, governance, and information model of the Foreign Exchange Domain without constraining how those concepts are realized in a particular implementation.
Maintaining independence from implementation technologies allows multiple Implementation Profiles / Platform-Specific Models (PSMs) to realize the same logical architecture using different technologies while preserving architectural consistency, interoperability, governance, traceability, and evidence expectations. This separation of concerns is fundamental to the layered architecture established by Parts 1 and 2.
This requirement applies to the definition, review, maintenance, interpretation, and evolution of the FX Demo Logical Profile.
It applies specifically to:
Verification SHALL confirm that the FX Demo Logical Profile does not prescribe implementation-specific technologies or deployment mechanisms.
Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:
This requirement preserves the platform independence of the FX Demo Logical Profile while maintaining the architectural boundary between the Logical Profile and subsequent Implementation Profiles / Platform-Specific Models (PSMs), deployment plans, testability plans, and evidence plans.
