The FX Demo Logical Profile SHALL preserve the Part 1 Conceptual Architecture.

Part 3, Section 17.2: FX Domain Profile Requirements.

The Part 1 Conceptual Architecture establishes the architectural principles, separation of concerns, governance model, and conceptual foundation for all subsequent architectural artifacts. Preserving the Conceptual Architecture ensures that the FX Demo Logical Profile remains architecturally consistent with the overall Reference Architecture while introducing Foreign Exchange-specific logical content.

Failure to preserve the Conceptual Architecture would compromise architectural consistency, governance, traceability, and interoperability across derived profiles.

This requirement applies to the definition, review, maintenance, and evolution of the FX Demo Logical Profile.

It applies specifically to:

• architectural specialization activities;
• logical architectural design;
• conformance assessments; and
• future revisions of the FX Demo Logical Profile.

Verification SHALL confirm that the FX Demo Logical Profile preserves the principles and architectural constraints established by the Part 1 Conceptual Architecture.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

• conceptual architectural principles remain unchanged;
• separation of concerns is preserved;
• governance concepts remain consistent with Part 1; and
• no conceptual conflicts are introduced by the FX Demo Logical Profile.

This requirement supports traceability between the Part 1 Conceptual Architecture and the FX Demo Logical Profile.
