FX Logical Ownership of Definitions SHALL identify responsibility for defining, maintaining, approving, and reviewing FX logical definitions.

Logical definitions require clearly identified ownership to ensure consistent architectural meaning, controlled evolution, and accountable governance throughout their lifecycle. Identifying responsibility for defining, maintaining, approving, and reviewing FX logical definitions establishes architectural accountability while preserving platform independence and avoiding dependence on organizational structures or implementation technologies.

Maintaining explicit ownership also supports traceability, governance, interoperability, and consistent management across multiple Implementation Profiles.

This requirement applies to all logical definitions governed by the FX Demo Logical Profile.

It applies specifically to:

• logical definition ownership;
• governance responsibilities;
• architectural governance;
• conformance assessment; and
• derived Implementation Profiles.

Verification SHALL confirm that responsibility for FX logical definitions is explicitly identified.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

• ownership responsibilities are identified;
• definition, maintenance, approval, and review responsibilities are distinguished;
• governance responsibilities are consistently applied; and
• implementation-specific organizational structures are not prescribed.

This requirement establishes governance accountability for FX logical definitions.
