Logical Policy Constraints SHALL define platform-independent restrictions, conditions, obligations, or decision criteria governing logical interactions or information movement.

Logical Policy Constraints define governance rules independently of implementation technologies. Expressing these constraints at the logical level ensures that policy remains consistent across multiple implementations while preserving architectural intent and traceability.

This requirement applies to Logical Policy Constraints.

It applies specifically to:

• Logical interactions;
• Logical information movement;
• Logical Governance Model;
• Domain Logical Profiles; and
• Implementation Profiles.

Verification SHALL confirm that Logical Policy Constraints define platform-independent governance rules for logical interactions and information movement.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

• policy constraints are explicitly defined;
• governance criteria remain platform independent;
• policy obligations support architectural intent; and
• implementation technologies do not redefine logical policies.

This requirement supports traceability between logical policy decisions, governed interactions, and the Logical Governance Model.
