Deployment artifacts describe operational realization of implementation artifacts. Traceability from deployment artifacts to implementation artifacts preserves the relationship between executable or operational arrangements and the artifacts they deploy, configure, execute, or expose.
This requirement prevents deployment material from becoming disconnected from implementation realization and architectural intent.
