The DIDO-TE SHALL retain each preserved representation of Node state for the period specified by the governing Test Definition.
Retention preserves the availability and usability of a verified Node-state representation for the period established by the governing Test Definition.
The retention period may derive from a specified duration, lifecycle event, completion of a Test Execution, resolution of an exception, acceptance of Test Results, expiration of an Evidence obligation, authorization decision, or other identified condition.
Retention includes continued protection, identification, integrity verification, accessibility, compatibility, and Traceability. Moving or copying the representation does not interrupt the retention obligation.
The DIDO-TE preserves the context required to interpret the representation throughout retention. This context includes the Node identity, preservation point, Node Definition, Node Implementation, Node Configuration, Test Environment, Test Execution, capture method, and verification status.
Premature loss, deletion, corruption, inaccessibility, or loss of context may prevent reconstruction, comparison, restoration, evaluation of Test Results, or production of Evidence.
