The FX Demo Logical Profile specialises the inherited concepts and logical elements for the [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:f:foreign_exchange_domain|Foreign Exchange Domain]]. It does not redefine the conceptual architecture in Part 1 or the distributed, node-based [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:l:logical_model|Logical Architecture]]/[[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:p:platform_independent_model|PIM]] in Part 2.

FX logical [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:l:logical_node|Nodes]] specialise [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:l:logical_node|Logical Nodes]]. FX logical [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:l:logical_communication_endpoint|Communication Endpoints]] specialise [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:l:logical_communication_endpoint|Logical Communication Endpoints]]. FX logical information structures specialise [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:l:logical_data_structure_definition|Logical Data Structure Definitions]] and [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:l:logical_data_structure_instance|Logical Data Structure Instances]]. FX [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:r:runtime_plane|Runtime Plane]] participation specialises the Logical Runtime Plane Model.

This principle preserves the layered architecture. Part 3 adds FX-specific logical meaning without moving implementation, deployment, testability, or evidence-capture details into the logical profile.
