12.5 Logical Architecture Supports Domain Profiles

Part 2 provides the reusable logical foundation for domain profiles.

A domain profile, such as the FX Demo Logical Profile, specialises the Logical Architecture / PIM for a specific financial Domain. The domain profile inherits the conceptual definitions from Part 1 and the platform-independent logical relationships from Part 2.

By inheriting conceptual definitions from Part 1 and logical relationships from Part 2, each domain profile allows the Financial Systems Archetype to support multiple financial domains without rewriting the conceptual foundation or the logical model.
