Person

A Person is an individual human being.

A Party may represent a Person or an Organization. Person identifies the nature of the entity represented. It does not identify the Role performed by that entity.

A Person may perform different Roles in different contexts. For example, the same Person may act as an employee, trader, approver, beneficiary or authorized representative. A change in Role does not create a different Person.

Person also remains distinct from Legal Entity. Applicable law may recognize a Person as having legal rights, obligations or capacity. That recognition does not change the underlying entity from a Person into an Organization.

Information about a Person may include names, identifiers, relationships, and Role Assignments. Those items describe or reference the Person. They do not replace the Person or independently establish every aspect of the Person's identity.
