5. Definitions
This section defines terms that Part 6 uses for the Cost Recovery, Compensation, and Settlement Plane. These definitions apply within the scope of this volume and support consistent interpretation of cost attribution, compensation, settlement, provider qualification, evidence linkage, content minimisation, and non-performance visibility.
The terms in this section extend the common terminology used across the FX Demo Reference Architecture. Where another part of the document set already defines a term, Part 6 uses that definition unless this section provides a more specific meaning in the cost recovery, compensation, and settlement context.
Each term entry follows the FX Demo terms-and-definitions format. The Discussion explains the term in context. The Definition provides the normative term meaning. The Source identifies the originating document. The Note clarifies usage or boundary conditions. The Example illustrates the term in the FX Demo.
