7.1 Overview

Go To FX Demo Logical Node Roles

The FX Demo Logical Node Roles specialise the Part 2 Logical Node Role concept for the Foreign Exchange Domain.

An FX logical Logical Node Role identifies a domain-specific responsibility performed by an FX logical Node. FX logical Node Roles allow the profile to describe what each FX logical Node does without prescribing implementation components, processes, services, containers, pods, runtime scripts, or deployment units.

The FX Demo Logical Profile uses roles to keep responsibilities distinct across transaction intake, validation, semantic interpretation, contract state management, cash-flow computation, policy evaluation, release control, audit recording, provenance recording, health reporting, registry and coordination, replay and reconstruction, and oversight consumption.

A single FX logical Node performs one or more FX logical Node Roles. The profile assigns the same FX logical Node Role to multiple FX logical Nodes when redundancy, partitioning, jurisdictional separation, organisational separation, or parallel processing requires that distribution.
