6.7 Classification Governance
Classification Governance ensures that authors deliberately introduce new Ecosystems and Domains.
A later part or profile can introduce a new financial Ecosystem or Domain only when the existing Classification Path does not cover the intended business or Semantic scope.
When a later part introduces a new financial classification, it can identify:
-
Parent Ecosphere
-
Parent Ecosystem, where applicable
-
New Domain
-
Reason the new classification is needed
-
Relationship to existing classifications
-
Parts, profiles, implementation artifacts, deployment artifacts, or Evidence packages that use the new classification
Classification governance prevents local implementation choices from creating unintended financial-domain classifications.
