Scalability

Scalability describes the ability of the market or deployment to support increased numbers of participants, Nodes, governed functions, work events, evidence references, compensation claims, jurisdictions, and settlement instructions. In the Governed Node Service Market, Scalability supports ecosystem growth, expanded jurisdictional participation, increased provider participation, larger evidence volumes, more governed functions, and higher settlement-record volume.

Scalability matters because the market must support growth without losing qualification discipline, evidence continuity, cost attribution, provider comparison, governance review, or settlement traceability. A scalable market supports increased volume while preserving the same functional, non-functional, jurisdictional, policy, evidence, and governance obligations.

Financial Systems Archetype, Part 7: Governed Node Service Market

Scalability supports the growth of the ecosystem.

Scalability applies to technical processing, governance workflows, qualification records, evidence references, provider comparison, cost attribution, compensation claims, and settlement artifacts.

Scalability differs from Elasticity. Elasticity concerns adaptation to changing conditions by activating, deactivating, adding, removing, or substituting Qualified Nodes. Scalability concerns the ability of the market or deployment to support increased size, volume, participation, and complexity.

The market expands from one FX Demo jurisdiction to several, and continues to support work attribution, Evidence Reference linking, provider comparison, Compensation Claim processing, and Settlement Instruction generation.
