Oversight Consumption Role

The Oversight Consumption Role identifies responsibility for receiving authorized FX information as an external oversight participant.

This role includes receiving an FX Release Package, accepting release obligations, preserving receipt context where applicable, and supporting oversight review without gaining access to internal FX Data Plane information beyond the authorized release.

The Oversight Consumption Role participates primarily in the FX Logical Policy and Release Plane. It also relates to the FX Logical Audit and Provenance Plane because release decisions, release packages, delivery context, and obligations require traceability and review.

Specialization of Logical Node Role from Part 2: Distributed Node-Based Logical Architecture, Section 6.4, Policy and Release Plane from Part 1: Conceptual Architecture, Section 8.5, and Governance and Authority from Part 1: Conceptual Architecture, Section 9.6; generalised from external oversight and monitoring material in the original FX Demo Reference Architecture.

The Oversight Consumption Role does not prescribe a regulator, agency, organization, user account, API client, endpoint, network connection, or deployment environment.

The External Oversight Participant performs the Oversight Consumption Role when it receives an authorized FX Release Package prepared by the FX Policy and Release Node.
