Logical Change Control governs changes to logical definitions, relationships, responsibilities, constraints, and interaction patterns.

Logical Change Control supports review before a change affects other logical elements, domain profiles, implementation profiles, deployment profiles, testability plans, or evidence expectations. It identifies the changed element, the reason for the change, the affected logical relationships, the compatibility and traceability impacts, and the required review.

Logical Change Control helps prevent local changes from silently altering inherited meaning. A change to a Logical Data Structure Definition, Logical Communication Endpoint, Logical Node Role, Runtime Plane classification, or Interaction Pattern affects producers, consumers, governance relationships, traceability, and evidence expectations.

Logical Change Control does not prescribe a workflow tool, a change ticket system, a repository branch, an approval form, or a release process. Later governance and implementation layers select those mechanisms.
