The FX Replay and Reconstruction Node supports replay, reconstruction, and review of selected FX information from preserved audit, provenance, lineage, and evidence-supporting records.

The FX Replay and Reconstruction Node performs replay and reconstruction responsibilities. It receives replay or reconstruction requests, identifies applicable source records, follows provenance and lineage relationships, reconstructs selected information, and records replay or reconstruction results.

The FX Replay and Reconstruction Node participates primarily in the FX Logical Audit and Provenance Plane. It also interacts with the FX Logical Control Plane when replay uses control commands, and with the FX Logical Data Plane when the profile republishes reconstructed or replayed information.

The FX Replay and Reconstruction Node does not prescribe a replay engine, event store, database, log replay mechanism, provenance store, or evidence repository.

The FX Replay and Reconstruction Node reconstructs the lineage of an FX Release Package by following provenance records back to the FX Policy Decision, FX Cash-Flow Obligation, FX Contract State, FX Validation Result, and original FX Transaction Candidate.
