P1-REQ-13-10-008
Statement
A later part that specialises, realises, deploys, tests, or evidences a conceptual element SHALL preserve Traceability to that conceptual element.
Source
Part 1, Section 13.10: Profile and Layering Requirements.
Rationale
Later parts refine and realise conceptual elements through domain profiles, logical models, implementation profiles, deployment artefacts, tests, and evidence. Traceability to the conceptual element preserves the relationship between later material and the conceptual architecture.
This requirement supports forward review, backward review, impact analysis, evidence support, and controlled evolution across the document set.
Applies To
This requirement applies to later parts that specialise, realise, deploy, test, or evidence conceptual elements.
It applies specifically to:
-
Domain specialisation
-
Logical realisation
-
Implementation realisation
-
Deployment realisation
-
Testability material
-
Evidence material
Verification
Verification SHALL confirm that later parts preserve Traceability to conceptual elements they specialise, realise, deploy, test, or evidence.
Verification activities include review checks confirming that:
-
Specialisations trace to related conceptual elements
-
Realisations trace to related conceptual elements through logical and implementation mappings
-
Deployment material traces to related conceptual or implementation elements
-
Testability and Evidence material trace to the conceptual elements or claims they support
Traceability
