RTI Connext DDS is used in the FX Demo implementation profile as the selected DDS implementation for Phase 0. Within the architecture document set, RTI Connext DDS belongs to the implementation-specific technology layer and does not define conceptual or logical architecture meaning.

RTI Connext DDS is an implementation mechanism in the FX Demo document set. Logical Architecture / PIM elements remain independent of RTI Connext DDS.
Example
A Phase 0 DDS topic implemented with RTI Connext DDS realises a logical communication mapping but does not redefine the Logical Architecture / PIM.
