The General Annex A remains the controlling source for acronyms used across multiple DIDO Solutions specifications. This annex contains only acronyms that are specific to the FX Demo or its financial, operational, and implementation context. An acronym defined in the General Annex A is referenced directly and is not duplicated here. ===== Inventory ===== | Acronym | Expanded form or meaning | Usage | General Annex status | Disposition | | ------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------: | -------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | ACTUS | Algorithmic Contract Types Unified Standards | Part 5 | Missing | Add to General Annex A | | AI | Artificial Intelligence | Parts 0, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7 | Missing | Add to General Annex A | | DDS | Data Distribution Service | Parts 0, 1, 2, 4, and 5 | Defined | Use general entry | | FDIS-RA | Financial Data Interpretation System Reference Architecture | Parts 0–5 | Defined | Use general entry | | FX | Foreign Exchange | Parts 0–5 and 7 | Defined | Use general entry | | IDL | Interface Definition Language | Parts 0, 1, 2, 4, and 5 | Defined | Use general entry | | IEF | Information Exchange Framework | Part 5 | Defined | Use general entry | | K3s | Lightweight Kubernetes distribution | Part 1 | Missing | Add to General Annex A or treat as a product name | | LM | Logical Model | Part 1 | Missing | Add to General Annex A | | PIM | Platform-Independent Model | Parts 0–4 | Defined | Use general entry | | PSM | Platform-Specific Model | Parts 0, 2, 3, and 4 | Defined | Use general entry | | QoS | Quality of Service | Parts 1, 2, 4, and 5 | Defined | Use general entry | | RA | Reference Architecture | Part 1 | Defined | Use general entry | | REST | Representational State Transfer | Part 2 | Defined | Use general entry | | RPC | Remote Procedure Call | Part 2 | Defined | Use general entry | | RTI | Real-Time Innovations | Part 0 | Defined | Use general entry | | SDIS | Structured Data / Information System | Parts 0–2 | Defined | Use general entry | | SIP-RA | Structured Information Processing Reference Architecture | Parts 0–5 | Defined | Use general entry | | URI | Uniform Resource Identifier | Parts 0, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7 | Missing | Add to General Annex A | | VS | Visual Studio | Part 5 | Missing or ambiguous | Replace “VS Code / Code” with the official product name “Visual Studio Code” | ===== Maintenance Rules ===== * Include only acronyms that appear in the FX Demo document set * Check the General Annex A before creating an FX Demo acronym entry * Link to the controlling general entry when it already exists * Add broadly applicable acronyms to the General Annex A rather than this annex * Maintain each FX Demo-specific acronym as an individual leaf page * Organize acronym pages under the initial letter of the acronym * Do not add a trailing `:start` to an individual acronym page ===== Notes for Editors ===== Review Parts 0 through 7 periodically to identify acronyms that have been added, removed, or revised. An acronym should not appear in this annex merely because it relates to foreign exchange. It must appear in the FX Demo document set and must not already have a controlling entry in the General Annex A. ---- <WRAP centeralign> © 2026 Dido Solutions, Inc. and Jackrabbit Consulting, Inc. </WRAP> dido/99_annexes/annex-a-acronyms/start.txt Last modified: 2026/09/15 18:40by nick_dido
