The Submission SHALL define a Conformance model specifying the conditions under which an implementation conforms to the proposed Reference Architecture.
A Reference Architecture requires explicit Conformance conditions so implementers, evaluators, and acquiring organizations can determine whether an implementation realizes the required architectural responsibilities.
Without a defined Conformance model, architectural guidance may be interpreted inconsistently, and claims of Conformance may depend on subjective judgment. The model establishes the requirements, classifications, conformance points, evidence, and evaluation rules used to assess an implementation.
A conforming Submission demonstrates that:
The Conformance model includes the information governed by:
This requirement establishes the overall implementation Conformance model. The requirements listed under Required Coverage define specific properties and contents of that model.
